Planting 25 trees for every family who visits the studio

At Sarah Baldock Portraits, I believe that we have a responsibility to take care of the planet that we live on. That's why I'm thrilled to be partnered with Ecologi to plant trees and reduce our carbon footprint.

Every time a family visits our studio, I plant 25 trees with Ecologi. That's right – 25 trees for each and every family. Not only does this help to offset our carbon emissions, but it also contributes to reforestation efforts around the world.

Why trees matter

Trees play a critical role in our planet's ecosystem. They absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, helping to mitigate the effects of climate change. They also provide habitat for wildlife, help to prevent soil erosion, and even improve air and water quality.

Unfortunately, deforestation and other human activities have led to the loss of billions of trees over the years. That's why it's so important to plant new trees and work towards reforestation efforts.

Partnering with Ecologi

Ecologi is a company that helps individuals and businesses take action on climate change. They work with a number of reforestation projects around the world, including in Madagascar, Mozambique, and Nicaragua.

By partnering with Ecologi, the studio is able to contribute to these projects and make a real impact on the environment. Each tree I plant helps to remove carbon from the atmosphere and contributes to the overall health of the planet.

Tracking progress

One of the best things about partnering with Ecologi is that I'm able to track progress over time. I can see how many trees that have been planted, where they've been planted, and how much carbon they've helped to offset.

To date, I have planted 2,357 trees in the 29 months the studio has been partnered with Ecologi. This is a fantastic achievement that I'm incredibly proud of, but I'm not done yet. I'm committed to continuing to plant trees and make a positive impact on the environment.

Getting involved

I'm also passionate about other getting involved too and I know many of my clients have also helped make a difference when it comes to the environment. There are a number of ways that everyone can get involved and make a positive impact on the planet.

  • Reduce Carbon Footprint: One of the most important things that can be done is to reduce the carbon footprint. This can include things like driving less, using energy-efficient appliances, and eating less meat.
  • Plant Trees: If space, consider planting some trees in the garden. This can help to absorb carbon from the atmosphere and provide habitat for wildlife.
  • Support Reforestation Efforts: There are a number of organisations, like Ecologi, that are working towards reforestation efforts around the world. By donating to these organisations or even volunteering it can really help..
  • Spread the Word: Finally, by talking to friends and family about the importance of taking care of the planet. The more people who are aware of these issues, the more likely we are to make a real impact.

At Sarah Baldock Portraits, I'm committed to doing my part to protect the planet. That's why I so love partnering with Ecologi and planting trees for every family who visits the studio. I'm incredibly proud of the 2,357 trees that have been planted so far and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on the environment. I hope you feel as excited about this as me and that maybe you'll have a go at being a little more sustainable. Remember every little change helps.

Newborn safety is of utmost importance when it comes to newborn photography. As a new parent, you want to capture every precious moment of your family's next journey, but you also want to know that your baby will be safe at all times. As a mum of three boys, this is something I am hugely passionate about - every baby who visits the studio is treated like my own. This means it's vital to choose a photographer who is knowledgeable about newborn safety and has extensive experience to ensure that your baby is comfortable and secure throughout your newborn experience.
