The first year of your baby’s journey is full of firsts…..first smile, first roll, first tooth, first crawl and sometimes even first steps!

It is such an exciting and sometimes challenging time and it really should be celebrated. That’s why the Bathtub Birthday Experience is so popular. Not only does it celebrate this milestone Birthday but it also celebrates everything about the last 12 months. It captures precious memories while also making more once-in-a-lifetime memories too! So what happens at a Bathtub Birthday experience?

Capturing gorgeous family portraits

A studio session always starts with some fun portraits. I helps the Birthday boy or girl settle into the studio and is a chance to capture their personality in portraits to treasure forever. There are some gorgeous outfits available in the studio for you to choose from or you can bring your own. If you want to use a mix of both then that’s no problem at all.

Every session always includes siblings and Mum and Dad too, so we capture very special family portraits as well! You all want to be able to celebrate and remember this special time together.

Then things get messy!

After we have captured lots of fun, timeless portraits, then comes the messy bit! If you want to include a cake smash first then you can do. Alternatively if you would prefer not to then that’s fine too. We always make sure we design your session exactly for you. Again, if you want you can choose one of the studio outfits to save yours from getting messy. It is totally up to you.

Scrub-a-dub-dub

Then comes the wet bit!!! A lovely warm bath with lots of bubbles and ducks too! It is great fun and little ones absolutely love it! They can splash as much as they like while we capture some wonderful memories to treasure. There is also the option to have a milk bath. These are a little different and usually include either flowers or fruit. The finished portraits look amazing!

Snuggle time!

Lastly, it’s time to get all snuggled up in a nice fluffy towel! We then capture some wonderful memories while little ones snuggle in a towel. It’s the perfect way to relax after a fun-filled session!
