The new studio is here!

I’ve been teasing you with the new studio for a while….well finally it’s here! I am so excited to show you around! This refurbishment has been a long time in the planning and will make such a difference. It will still give every family who visits the homely feel you all love, whilst also giving me more room to capture your most precious memories.

Welcome to the studio

For anyone who has visited the studio before, you will notice the difference as soon as your come through the door. There is now a lovely reception area, with a coffee machine and fridge, stocked with cold drinks. There are also snacks available for you to help yourself to at any time. You can leave your coats and bags here and then you will be welcomed through to the studio.

A warm welcome in the studio

The studio itself

The studio is now much bigger than it was. There is a comfy sofa at one end with tables for you to put your drinks. You can sit back and relax while I capture your most precious memories. There is now more space for capturing timeless portraits, whether they are from your maternity, newborn, 1st Birthday, family or pet photography session. We will still have a consultation Zoom a few days before your session to run through colour schemes and favourite styles, so that when you come to the studio, everything will be set up and ready for you.

After your session

At the end of your session, you will still be able to look at all the different samples of artwork, picking them up and feeling them. As before, we will book your gallery presentation for about a week after your session. If you've not visited before, that’s when you come back to the studio to view your edited gallery of portraits, which are presented in a beautiful slide show. I now have a large TV on which you can view your gallery…..you get to sit back and enjoy viewing your portraits for the first time and then choose the artwork that suits you.

Extras in the studio

If you need to top up your make up or just make any final changes to your outfit, there are mirrors in my cosy office. You can also use the office if you need to change. This is particularly the case with maternity sessions, when you may need to change a few times. It's also where I store all the gorgeous newborn outfits, hats and headbands.

Come and visit soon!

I will be having an open day soon, so families can come and visit the new studio and have a look around. So keep an eye out for the date. There will be some nibbles and also a gift for everyone who visits.

If you are thinking of capturing your most precious memories with artwork to treasure forever, why not come and have a look. Feel free to bring your little ones, so they can see the studio before they come for their session.

I can’t to see you very soon.

Newborn safety is of utmost importance when it comes to newborn photography. As a new parent, you want to capture every precious moment of your family's next journey, but you also want to know that your baby will be safe at all times. As a mum of three boys, this is something I am hugely passionate about - every baby who visits the studio is treated like my own. This means it's vital to choose a photographer who is knowledgeable about newborn safety and has extensive experience to ensure that your baby is comfortable and secure throughout your newborn experience.
